"If it is so easy to use, why do I need training?" We hear that question quite often. The short answer is this: you don't. Our documentation is quite extensive, and the imc software environments are very intuitive. But this isn't the whole story.

imc systems and software are all very feature rich; to realize the full potential of your versatile imc hardware / software system, we highly recommend the imc DataWorks training services. Our training courses are designed to optimize your investment of time; these courses are quick, succinct sessions targeted to your specific needs, and may ne tailored to the specific needs of you and your users.

Installation & Orientation

A half to full day on-site to ensure your immediate measurement needs are met, and to explain the options specific to your immediate needs. Usually bundled with system purchase. Recommended for 1-2 core users.

Introductory Famos

A 2-day course covering all aspects of the imc data interface, the curve manager, as well as basic analysis functions, report generator, and introductory macro programming. Available on-site or at our offices.

Recommended for users and operators in groups of 6 -8 or less.

Introductory imc Devices

A 2-day course covering instrument configuration, storage options, and triggering. Online Famos is introduced, and live displays with the curve manager is discussed extensively.

Recommended for users and operators in groups of 6 -8 or less; we recommend one instrument per 2 students if possible.

Combined Introductory Devices / Famos Course

A complete 3-day course covering all topics in the Introductory Famos and imc Devices classes.

Recommended for users and operators in groups of 6-8 or less; we recommend one instrument per 2 students if possible.

Advanced Famos

A one or two day course targeted at using the sequence editor to create complex analysis routines incorporating user I/O, file I/O, sub-sequence and parameters, kit interface, and more.

Recommended for advanced operators and test engineers involved in analysis.

Advanced Devices

A one or two day course emphasizing online Famos, complex triggering, user I/O, multi-segmental / multi-event data, real time data reduction, kit interface, and more.

Recommended for advanced operators and test engineers involved in test development.

Custom Tailored

All training course content is influenced by the student's particular needs, but complete customized sessions from 1/2 - 3 days can be developed on your training needs.
