SPARTAN is an affordable, compact multi-channel
measuring system specially designed to optimize potential-isolated
measurement of voltage and temperature. With a sampling rate
of up to 10 kHz per channel, even highly dymanic processes
can be recorded with high resolution.
SPARTAN is adapted to mobile as well as laboratory
settings in the fields from R&D to production testing.
Spartan comes in a compact housing with a choice
of 16 or 32 channels. To obtain higher channel counts, multiple
devices can be physically networked together via Ethernet.
An optional CANBus interface is available for deploying SPARTAN
in the transportation industry and distributed production
facilities. SPARTAN is able to accept data from the CANBus,
processing and displaying results in conjunction with any
other analog or digital channels.
BUSDaq is a variation of the Spartan. With the same processing
capabilities as Spartan, including Online Famos and streaming
storage, but lacking any analog input. Instead, BUSDaq uses
the CANBus for input from external CAN sensors, such as the
CANSAS module.
SPARTAN /BUSDaq is ideal for monitoring tasks,
for instance in plants, due to its networking capability and
its non-reactive inputs.
The completely potential-isolated inputs allow
direct connection of voltages (±50 V), PT100's and all
common thermocouples. Current measurements (4 - 20 mA) are
performed via dedicated shunt plugs. DSP linearization and
scaling makes it possible to connect any linear or non-linear
sensors having voltage or current outputs. Isolated digital
inputs and relay(alarm, Estop, etc.) outputs mean that the
hardware can react to and communicate with the outside world.
