Like the warriors of ancient Greece, the imc
SPARTAN data logging system is a focused powerhouse, which thrives in difficult testing conditions.
- Stand alone data logging with onboard storage and autostart capability
- In-vehicle CAN and ECU data collection, Smart DC Power Supply
- 4D Position Awareness: GPS position and time synchronization
- Test bench data collection with TCP/IP connectivity and Realtime Analysis
- Simple state control utilizing digital outputs and optional DSP system

Designed in two basic versions:
- SPARTAN-U for dynamic mechanical measurements: body dynamics, pressure, force, etc.
(up to 500 Sample per second per channel, 200 Hz bandwidth)
- SPARTAN-T for psuedo static measurements: temperature, meterolgical conditions, and other
slowly varying physical quantities (up to 5 Samples per second per channel, 1 Hz bandwidth)
The SPARTAN chassis are designed to include
16, 32, 64, 96, or 128 isolated analog inputs channels per system, and can optionally include
a dual indepdent CAN Bus interface, allowing a total channel count of up to 512. Channels utilize
imc's flexible DSUB interface (4 channels per connectors), or can optionally be equipped with
mini thermo-plugs, or BNC connections, appropriate for more specialized installations.
SPARTAN comes standard with the imc
DIO-ENC interface, which includes 4 differential incremental counter inputs (encoders, speed
sensors, etc.), 16 digitial inputs, and 8 digital outputs. Being based on the
CRONOS Platform, SPARTAN also
includes the imc "standards:" 10/100 MBit Ethernet, onboard flash storage slot, support for
optional external modem, display, or GPS input.
Integrating everything you need for data logging, from bench top to in-vehicle,
SPARTAN system is ideally adaptable to a number of
testing needs.
